To support your immune system, the main recommendation of Maharishi Ayurveda is to maintain both inner and outer balance. Achieving outer balance can involve regular daily routine, regular meals, sufficient sleep, and a good balance between work and recreation. Inner balance can mean yoga, daily meditation, bacterial balance within your gut, and maintaining balance between the three fundamental elements or Doshas that control your body – Vata (movement), Pitta (transformation) and Kapha (structure).
